Community 7 months, 2 weeks agoDay 1- so I slipped and broke my streak yesterday after 20 days. I played and lost but not all of my money. Today im resisting and will not give in.

If you can take a few minutes and write down what was going on in your life yesterday and what if any
emotions you were feeling / dealing with.
Might help for the next time.

Community 7 months, 3 weeks agoDay 18- The thought of [playing crossed my mind but I quickly brushed it off. I feel my will power getting stronger with every day that I resist. Rewiring the brain by repetitively making better choices with my money and telling myself that I don’t gamble anymore.

Congratulations on Day 17 and thanks for sharing what has worked for you. All of those are very positive. I am working on the keeping busy part. I work during the week but my weekends need some routine and planning so I am not sitting there looking stupid with nothing to do, which was time that I would spend gambling.

Community 7 months, 3 weeks agoDay 16- I didnt post yesterday because I had a busy day but I made it thru to another day without gambling. I will keep posting everyday because I dont want to slip and I know a real test of my strength to resist gambling is coming soon.

Community 7 months, 3 weeks agoDay 13- Took time to meditate and pray. Im not in a good spot financially and its not going to be easy to get out of it the next few weeks but I know in my heart that things will work out somehow for me as long as I do not gamble.
