Day 9- No Gambling is the only way. I feel good about life and believe in myself to make my life better. Gambling only brought out the worst in me.

    • That’s exactly right. It’s in the rear view mirror….don’t look back. What do you want your new life to look like?? Think about things that peak your interest, a passion you used to have as a child, or something you’re just naturally good at….And if you can combine that with using it to being of service to others you’ve found your destined path…[Read more]

I know it hurts. The pain is what is motivating me to not gamble. I never want to feel like that again. You will come out of this stronger than you were. Be patient and hang in there and stay on the path of not gambling. Everything will balance out with time.

Day 6- I went to get my coffee in the morning and felt a strong urge to gamble. I resisted the urge and got thru it. I remembered my family and the pain and it kept me from making the wrong choice. Stay strong and resist. Do not gamble.

Day 5- Morning routine to start my day and set the tone. Its getting easier not to gamble with each day that I resist. Making better choices with my money and going to start paying back my debts and catch up to my bills. I have to be patient and stay the course on my plan to best version of myself. The version of me that does not gamble.

Day 4- Gambling is like a program in our minds. Reprogramming and replacing gambling with a positive habit is essential to quitting. Forgiving myself and b…[Read more]

    • That’s so great.💕💕 You should be very proud of yourself. Another idea that always moves the needle toward happiness and out of your own head is doing a random act of kindness for someone else. However small the act might be it makes you forget about your own problems for a while and brightens another persons day too. A real W…[Read more]

I can relate to all of those feelings. There’s nothing we can do about the past but learn from it. The money we lost is gone and gambling will never get it back for us. Accept that its all gone, Accept that this is where we have to start from and forgive ourselves for the self destructive choices weve made. Hang in there, things will get better w…[Read more]

Hang in there Im in a financial hole too. Come up with a plan. Everything will be alright and you will get out of your hole but you have to stop gambling right now. Remember the pain it had brought your life when you want to gamble again. Become sick and tired of that pain.

    • Thank you. I just put in a state exclusion application online. I have to get this under control. I’m in such a mess right now. It helps to talk to people who understand though.

      • Youre welcome. i know it hurts but We will get thru this together. Take it one day at a time.
