What definitely helped me stop was self exclusion, closing accounts. and banning myself from anyplace I could gamble. Taking the longest possible self exclusion they have to offer.

What helped me at times was telling myself I can gamble instead of telling myself I can’t.
It’s a choice.
I think sometimes when a person says they can’t a person wants too that much more.
