Community 1 years, 3 months agoToday is my 11th day away from gambling. Yesterday was very difficult, but with the help of my psychiatrist (online) I was able to do it. I think we should all receive this kind of help as it is needed in the process of self exclusion.

Community 1 years, 3 months agoToday is my 10th day away from online Sports betting. The urge is very high, I keep checking gaming websites but still no pence deposited there. God please help to overcome this addiction

You got this the fact that you still visit these sites but was able to NOT DEPOSIT any money is GREAT!keep it up! Continue with keeping yourself busy with Hobby’s you enjoy doing. You got this!

I know its hard, i too was addicted to spirts betting. Community 1 years, 6 months agoDay 6.. Today I feel better, I felt that I am able to communicate normally in my work for the first time in a while. Believe me all, Gambling is capable to destroy all your life -literally-. Stay away from this.. I suffered a lot even though I was a very good gambler

Community 1 years, 6 months agoDay 3.. I feel better than the first 2 days. Palpitations are lower, but now I feel so sad regarding my loses. I hope if I can chase at least 10% of what I gambled and give them to my wife.
I hope everything will be better with time <3-
For me, the chase would never end til I just surrendered to the fact it’s not coming back and if it did I’d just lose it chasing more. Always more. Here for ya my friend

Community 1 years, 6 months agoI gambled for 10 years in sports bets since I was in the university. I had a lot of consequences, But never like when I started working and got my own money.
I lost all my savings, tens of thousands of dollars, and still relapse after every time I stop.
Now I took a decision to stop 2 days ago. I hope I will have the power this time to stop FOREVER.-

Hard addiction to recover from our own so if I may suggest find a gambling support counselor and a local GA meeting.
