Every week I struggle. And every week I get an update from Gamtalk hoping I can find some spark of assistance. Yet, every week I am blasted with statements that are really as illogical as my gambling beliefs. Separate the religious replacement crutch from this and maybe it will actually help some logical people.

Solid idea but unfortunately no candidates for that role
Well ,your post kinda made me laugh. And i can laugh,been down every road of recovery and knocked on what feels like millions of doors.Starred for hours sometimes days at the phone waiting for someone just anyone to return my calls.Sat in on meeting after meeting,each time leaving feeling worse then when i went in.I finally stopped asking and looking for help! about 2 and a half years ago.If i choose to gamble i wont call it a relapse any more,cause well we all know ALL relapsed are planned well in advance.We all enter through the doors of a casino with more Hope then money.We always leave with No Hope and even less money.Even when we did win a little or even alot,well those wins are only temporary.But just to repeat it all again over and over.Sometimes for years.Logically i have the power to stop .It is a choice we make wether we gamble or not.I enjoy gambling i do,so do we all.Till one day you look into a mirror and no longer see you But an addict.If you dont like what you see.Still your choice?
100% agree. That’s why I have always avoided mirrors. That guy is a jerk.
Not trying to dismiss but that’s the base issue. If that wasn’t a problem, there would be no problem
