It couldn’t hurt. I didn’t know you could do that. I joined gamtalk 3.5 days ago after gambling over a thousand dollars in a matter of hours. I’ve been having yo take it day by day, minute by minute. Hey sally123. I have been there. Gambling by husbands money while he was at work. I’ve been a peer for about 7 years (peer just means fellow addict). One day it was so bad, I gambled ALOT and ended.up putting my entire family at risk of not paying our entire month of bills, private school, food, etc. I was suicidal with a plan. Nothing would stop me from gambling when the thought popped into my head. Just thinking about gambling and I am already on my way to a slip. Only thing that worked for me was dealing with resentments, fear, got honest and help other gamblers. That is the only way. You have to do all 12 steps to stay away.
