I like this. So basically we are either evolving/changing for better or we are deteriorating. There’s no in between so we all have to make a choice. I choose to evolve and change today.

Do you have any advice for the scriptures I should study? My brain is so warped from gambling I literally used to find verses from the Bible and twist it in my head telling myself God wanted me to gamble and I’d win the big one. So messed up I am! Anyways if you could recommend any for me to study I’d appreciate it.

I loved your post and thank you for taking the time to write it. I love the part about knowing that it is going to ruin your week month etc. That’s so true I go knowing I will be sick for a long time after wasting away everything.

    • Hi Jodi,
I was always sick after. It takes a lot of change before we learn to be sick (aware) during temptation. But you can learn that skill.

    • Hi jodi71,
Depending on where you are located? There are options for treatment for gambling addiction, and yes, some do use medication-assisted therapy to help diminish and aid with the cravings and urges. Hi I am brand new and in same boat. I just wanted to let you know you aren’t alone. The high of winning is not worth the lows we feel when loosing. Can you ban yourself from that casino?

    • Hi Joni, I’m looking into self-exclusion. There are at least 5 casinos in town so I would have to do it for all of them. But I think I might have to.
