Community 2 months, 2 weeks agoNew here online. Casino 30 minutes away; play slots; win, lose, win, lose, as soon as I win, I think I can win more to pay my debt…then lose it all. $18,000 down. Just want to stay inside my house alone, depressed, don’t even want to go to church. Embarrassed, even tho no one knows.

My problem is slots too. Went yesterday, won, lost, charged more on credit card, won all back, and sat there and lost it all again. The same ole ride home, making myself crazy, swearing I have to stop, getting up this morning and wanna go back. !!!

That’s me. I have a far drive going home. I’m swearing to myself. That will never go back and I do and lose even more. I hate this addiction . I have no self control

I’ve stopped. I’ve stated over and over again.
I give myself time away the longer I stay away the better I feel. I have three months now. I still think about going back but not as often and not as strong emotions. Thanks for your post…I’m down $18,000 & I see what could happen. I lose, it makes me sick, the next day, I’m wanting to go back and chase another win.

I’m new here, just joined this morning. I’m in a similar situation as you. Down $18,000 in the past two years. Gamble more to win, to pay off the debt….duh!–I win and lose it before I leave casino.
