Just curious…. Am I the only one who no longer has faith in God because of their addiction? I used to be a devout believer, serve on many committees in my church and was also an officer.     I was gambling thirty years ago at a horse track.
    I said please god during a race. The man sitting next to me that I had seen many times at the track told me God isn’t there to help. I just threw the Purpose Driven Life book in the trash!!! If this is part of God’s perfect plan for me, he must not like me very much or has to be an evil being. This is beyond horrible and I’m tired of praying and asking for help with no response. Prayed for help with finances and addiction and he gave me covid instead!
