Another day without playing numbers. Money in the bank and Money in my wallet. Felt some strong urges to play but didnt give in.

  Good for you Readytoquit! It’s totally normal to get urges…..What kinds of barriers have you put into place to make it harder for you to get easy access to “playing the numbers”?? By creating tangible barriers between yourself and your “drug of choice” you press the pause button between the urge in your mind and actually taking action. That’s where your power is.   Stay strong Readytoquit One day at a time. Urges generally only last 30 minutes. I find mind don’t last nearly as long.
  Throughout life every person is susceptible to being influenced by the right or wrong things for ourselves. What we have is choice. There are ways to beat gambling or any addiction we just have to want it badly enough.
