I have gone 8 days now without stepping foot into a grubby casino. Every day the itch has been strong but life is better without the money losing misery.

Two weeks free is an awesome start! My wife and I will take it 10 minutes at a time if we have to in order to stay out of that f’ing casino this weekend. We went to a holiday play last (Friday) night that cost us $25.00 per person. SO CHEAP compared to our weekend casino dumps! STAY STRONG

My wife and I ‘reward’ ourselves for a week’s hard work, housework, home projects etc with a trip to the casino. My wife and I gamble together and we are co-dependent. Our gambling addiction overshadows everything in our lives. We are not sure which course we should take to try to stop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just an observation and some suggestions. Obviously you two believe you enjoy gambling together. So you enjoy each other’s company. Doing something as a couple. That is awesome!!! Today I went to a museum with friends and my daughter. It took all day. So I’ve made great strides with getting out there and doing more stuff that isn’t gambling related.
