Community 1 years, 4 months agoSo I got paid today and have blown most of my money, I don’t what to do for the rest of the money and I’m scared to tell my girlfriend, I know that I will need to tell her real soon. I need to find ways to control my impulses.

My partner is smart and they figured it out. They were happy that I told the truth and will support me no matter what happens having stopped. The scratch tickets has built the trust up. No need to stop the lottery stuff. My partner still loves me. I still cares for me I’m very fortunate. (if you’re asking me.)

Its not about controling the impulse. Gambling is an emotional disease and will power doesnt work. Its about getting help for your addiction. Keep your money for something for yourself not somebody else. Throwing away you money will not make your life comfortable but if you gamble it your making someone else’s life comfortable. You work hard for your money. I hope you can stop gambling and start being kind to yourself. Wishing you well.
