    i just love the cardinal , i used to play stratego as a teen before i started gambling, the cardinal was a strong piece

    • I haven’t played that game. A bit of chess and checkers. I should get back to playing some board games. I haven’t in a long time. I used to like a good card game like crib and other card games.

    Ive been to multiple meetings daily in my first week of vacation and my 30 days get closer one day at a time with the emotional benefits

    Example . My sponsor says GamTalk is no good for me but i wanted and need to start this conversation with you as i doubt myself, you reinforce what i know and helpo mke battle my own sick mind brother thx you

      I have had no problems with attending both GA and Gamtalk. The great thing about GA is that it is in person vs. Gamtalk is virtual. Nothing beats the in person meetings with all of the raw emotion.

        I agree BT if one finds the right room GA is a gift to recovery
        I have been in GA for just over 21 years and still attend because in my room we don’t just talk about recovery issues we can dump whatever problems we are dealing with it the middle of the room and move on.
        And always someone will reach out to you.

    Did anybody else here ever try GA, do you think its too dramatic?

      Tino-I go to GA every week and I do not find it dramatic. I do believe finding the right meeting for you is important. I have been in recovery for 5.5 years and have remained with the same meeting the entire time. I believe for me GA is a pivotal part of my recovery.     hi, iam a struggling compulsive gambler, i started Ga meetings on Mai 31st 2022 i have been in and out not lining up more than 94 dazs of abstanance, presently on day 17 of a clean run but i still miss gambling

    hi, ibeen missing for 3 months, my father had a stroke so i spent 10 weeks taking care of things then i gambled 10 000$ and bumped my consumer debt from 41 to 45 thousand , im hoping to suround myself with support here after this awfull relapse

    I decided I wanted gaming for money out of my life after a very embarassing and stressfull decade

    Gambling was a passtime for me until 30, im am now 41 and have been through so many highs but the stress and lows and amount of time i spent gambling washed out every other aspect of my life exept my career where i hide everything cause its been the source to fuel the addiction i developped,
