Hello, my name is Evan.
A few days ago was the first time admitting I have a gambling problem. I told my fiancé that I blew the savings gambling online. I couldn’t stop, I couldn’t bring myself to say anything and when I did reach out it was too late. It’s been really bad over the last 5 months. Right now I fear I may not have the support of my fiancé, I don’t blame her. Keeping it from her was wrong. Since opening up on my addiction I have taken some action. I set up gambling blocking software on my phone and computer, called a helpline on what to do and now this chatroom for guidance is my next step. This is not how I want to live my life and now know I need all the help I can get to overcome this.

  Glad you found the site.
  When crashed I did many of the things you done.
  And I found a counselor and started attending GA meetings
  And if you think your partner may want support and understand our addiction
  I have included to Gam-Anon. 12 meetings
