Merry Christmas to all! If you are thinking of getting yourself a Christmas present, why not sign up for a digital treatment program to help you quit/stay away from gambling? I am a psychotherapist who has had experience working with patients with gambling disorder in the hospital. I am trying to create a product where people can access the same kind of treatment they would get in a therapy room by adapting therapeutic material into a mobile app so that those struggling with gambling addiction who are therapy-hesitant or therapy-deprived can get effective, quality help. If that sounds like something you would want to exist, please check out our landing page to know more about the app and sign up to tell us your thoughts and suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to read this, please know that your show of interest is pivotal to the development of this product.

    • Hi Skinner
      Thanks for the info.
Wondering what or if there is a cost associated with the apps.
      Thanks

      • Hey Ken L,

Thanks for your reply, the app hasn’t been finished yet so there’s no cost for signing up since you are only putting down your email address. The idea is that investors would find it worthy to support when they see how many people have signed up to indicate their interest so that I could either make it free or at a very low cost to users. It will also speed up the process of building it since I am only a psychotherapist so I am not proficient in tech, I am literally using any time and (free) resources I have to make it happen. I hope I’ve answered your question, if not, please feel free to throw more my way. Happy holidays Ken, you’ve done selfless work here in this community helping those who are struggling, I hope to do the same through this app.

        • Thanks Skinner
          Wishing you well.
Part of my recovery plan was group counseling based of CBT once a week.
Along with two or three GA meetings a week.
I was able to get ground and had a great support system.
Hope you can get your idea off the ground.
