Day 2: Today is payday and I paid the bills I have planned for this week quickly. The weather is snowy so I don’t feel like going to the casino. I find that when I put money into my savings account, no matter how good my intentions are, I end up gambling that money away. I tell myself I’m just going to use my free comps and leave but that’s not what happens. A question; how do you hang onto your savings and avoid temptation? My prayer for today is to say ‘may God protect us all today from the compulsion to gamble.’
