Community 1 years, 3 months ago Day 6! Tonight I spent some time using a debt snowball online calculator and now have a solid plan to get my debts (a lot of which is from my gambling activites) paid off. I had the urge to gamble tonight and started to download a casino app but after looking at the due dates to make my debt plan work I quickly deleted the app.
The other day I shared that I finally told my husband about my struggles but we were not able to really sit down and talk about it. He is now out of town for the week but we did talk about having a more indepth conversation when he returns. He assured me that all was good between us but when he gets home, he and I will set up an accountablity plan. I really don’t think I can do this without the support of the people on this site, my friends, and my husband.

You are doing very well. I’m happy you decided too delete the gambling app. That took courage and strength.
I’m glad you and your husband will speak when he returns from his trip. You really need his support and it sounds like he is willing too help. You are very fortunate he cares so much.
Most importantly is how you feel and how you are doing. Sounds like you are or have created a plan too help with your debt.
I’m staying away from gambling now day I guess it’s past twelve for me 21 free of bets. It’s a struggle and I know with time the struggle will lessen. Where will I be then. That at this moment is an unknown but my guess is way better off than had I continued gambling.
This is truly a day by day thing. Sometimes hour by hour. One person said here today try not too be upset because that can fuel your desire too gamble. That makes perfect sense too me.
