    This is my first time here and I’m sad. I recently won a substantial amount of money online. Somehow my deposit limit on the site got removed and long story short it’s gone. 4 days and everything I’ve begged and pleaded for us just gone. My husband has no idea the mess I’ve put myself into. I have no friends to lose in the first place. I feel alone and ashamed and I don’t know how to fix this without losing absolutely everything. Thanks for coming to my pity party, I’m sorry there were no snacks 😞

      The shame is real. It’s okay to feel it. Don’t deny it. But in doing so, also accept that you are able to move on from that feeling of shame in the same way that you went to it. It’s not as easy, but it is possible. Know that it does get better. I know the loneliness – we have all felt it. Don’t give in to any illusions or delusions. Close your accounts, self exclude for a few months, whatever it takes to stop the bleeding and start the healing.
