Hi. I am an alcoholic who has now got to address my gambling problem. I have gone overboard with scratch tickets and anything else that gives me a rush. I hate it and hate myself AGAIN! I need help and today is the first day I have admitted it to myself and to you.

  You have come to the right place jeannemarie and well done for having the strength of character to make this first move. From my own experiences and reading others it is clear that any addiction is a diversion to avoid underlying issues, an escape. There is a chat room on this site which can be very useful and they organise online meetings as well. It helps to be able to talk freely with others who understand. Stay strong.

  Thank u for sharing. It is not easy but u took the first step. U r not alone and there is amazing hope and a tough but awesome road ahead of u. God loves u and the enemies wants us to keep our addictions a secret. I pray for u and know that u can do this.
