Not sure if I’m allowed to be here. Not in recovery. Thought was open chat for everyone. Well I just keep messing up. Lost job in November and in financial difficulty to say the least.   Trace welcome.
  I’m not sure why but with gambling a lot of common sense can go right out the door. Plus the value of money.
  Recovering from any addiction is a process.
  A person needs to want to stop badly enough.
  Possibly consider GA meetings and or visiting with a councillor.

    Don’t be so hard on yourself, im not on the same boat as you yet but im struggling with my addiction to gambling, I think serenity’s advice is sound, I saw a therapist last week and talked about gambling, im seeing 2 therapist right now both free from the government of bc Canada, one is rec therapy and the other is gambling therapy, maybe you can…[Read more]
