I had some periods of great enjoyable abstinence but periods sometimes long when I went back
were progeressivlly worse over the years, worse and worse. Looking back it all started when I got busier at work, fewer GA meetings(went to several a week then none). Looking back thre was this hole, emptiness that was filled by just going to the casino and watching my friend loose. Eventually came that first bet again and progressive disaster. Last september was the worse and I banned myself for 3 years (the max where I live). As a slot player If I had done only ONE suggestion, dont go in or near gambling establishments I would have save years of loss and misery. I started this in and out recovery 15 years ago and it all starts with that forst bet undrestimating the potential danger. Every time less and less control.
I don’t want to play anymore for a while but boredom is getting to me
What should I do? Ban myself?
I know money don’t come easy and that won was a lucky shot. I don’t want to play anymore

yes….it doesn’t get better if you keep gambling.
