I relate 100%. I just passed the 24 hour mark since I last gambled and am hoping I can stop doing even greater damage to myself and face my loneliness and other problems head on by coming to this page instead.

To stop I had to accept that my addiction was to the playing, not the winning, the house doesn’t take it back we give it back because the goal is not to win money to keep, the goal is to win money to play with, hence the fact that you view the loss of $3600 as you do.
