Today I reached out to an addictions counsellor for my problem gambling. Gambling is very normalized in my family as my family love to go out to the casino, however, my family members are not rich or have unlimited amounts of money.. which is weird. I have been gambling frequently over the past 4 months and I have decided I am over it because I win but never enough to cover my debt. its so time consuming and I feel like its a big secret that no one else experiences. I have lost enough money that I could have used to purchase meaningful things. I want to have a healthy family in the future and do not want to repeat the mistakes of my family members. I want to be wealthy and I want to be financially responsible. Looking forward to the bigger picture of my life as I reach out and get counselling.
