Today I’m going to do whatever it takes to not gamble. Right now I have 3 years prison time hanging over me if I choose to go back to my old life. 10 hour work day today. Probation tomorrow. Even though I’ve paid back everything I took, the fines and court cost now come. $4000 more. My friends reach out, find resources and share your thoughts and feelings. No one needs to go down the road I chose. It’s not gonna get better on its own. My clean date is 7/31/22. But it’s always one day at a time. Put half the energy we used to gamble into your recovery and your personal journey can and will begin. Keep sharing on here no matter what.
