I started my journey September 8th, 2022. I have had one slip since then around the holidays. What is working for me is
1. Keep coming here.
2. Trust someone to hold your additional money.
3. I decided that I am not quitting gambling but stopping gambling. When I look at it this way I get the power that it is my decision. The word QUIT alone scares me. I can gamble if I want but I CHOSE NOT TO. My decision …..my power over it.
4. Help as many other people I can.
I have stopped gambling and I have moved on. BUT I come here as often as I can. Like I said I had a binge around the holidays. So I have to admit I do not know it all.
Coming here I reaffirm my decision to stop gambling and help as many others as I can. Even if it is just to chat about the weather.

  I really liked your post especially that you choose not to gamble. I think I’ll also try and adapt to that statement as it can give you back the power if you believe it can.
