The Super Bowl is a hard weekend for a gambling addict. So deep in the hole, I managed to cash 4K and left about 550 in. Of course Saturday I owe it all and deposit over 2K more. I won 2 small bets on Super Bowl but blew that little sum right after the game. Last night I threw 400 at it and got up 1.2. I lost a bad beat sports bet tonight and chased it on blackjack. Almost blew it all, but somehow managed to get back to my number. It’s sick and harrowing, it feels like we’re fighting to stay alive. I take my winnings and immediately throw it at credit card debt but the mountain remains impossibly high. I know I should cash out now and just quit forever but the debt mountain is always there. May we all find the courage to find a way out of our problems.
