I used a combo of two stratergies, the first is to recognise that I have a compulsion, that I have proved to myself time and time again, that when I play, even when I win, I do not stop. The only way out of this loop is not to get into it. Accept the losses you have made to date, if you don’t you will simply keep adding to that figure and increasing the need to win your losses back. The scond strtaergy is to look at it for what it is, be hinest with yourself, what is the ration of winners to losers that you see, you notice the winners because of the noise of the machine or their celebration of the win, losers keep silent and sit there, grey faced, simply feeding the machine until they are broke, at which point they slink off quietly as they have done a zillion times before. It also helos to look up on the net the mind of the gambler, the more you understand how your mind works the better your chance to take back control. I hope this helps you, gambling is a terrible addiction, in my opinion the most self destructive of all addictions.
