Hello, my name if Phillip and I am a gambling addict. I am 27 years old and spend all my money on online sports gambling. I have went through all my savings and have maxed out all my credit cards. Today I have hit rock bottom.
I’m in a similar situation – 33 years old tore through my savings gambling online slots really trying to win back $18k of winnings I lost within 24 hours. Further fueling my addiction is me being fired from my job and unemployment not paying me going on 7 weeks. I’ve been trying to get a new job but coronavirus is slowing all things hiring down as new cases flood the work environments. On top of all that, my car was totaled so that was another expense. Some positives I have learned are my triggers, keeping busy doing door dash and instacart which are income making activities and I got rent assistance and food assistance through various programs. It’s starting to look up for me and it will for you too!
