Thank you for the encouragement Barbarat 😊 It’s going to be a long journey but looking at it as a challenge. I learned from this group that it’s not only about stopping gambling but making positive changes in my life… one step at a time. I love the warmth in this group ♥️

For years I had planned to do this. Printed out paperwork but before I could mail it off I manage to “talk” myself out of it. I think it is a wise move. I will be doing that soon as I get money for the notarization. It’s so pathetic. I gamble thousands of dollars and now I don’t even have $15.

Community 5 years, 5 months agoI’ve suffered enough ! 15 years I’ve let this gambling addiction take control of me and my life and it’s time to take the control back ! No time and energy will be wasted on looking back but on moving forward. I’d rather drive to therapy and GA than to gambling establishments…..

I have no more cards to balance transfers to and from. No more offers. Been just approved for a huge interest car title loan. I need it to pay a co worker for a loan and overdrafts and December expenses etc. I’m doomed. Been in this situation before, Wondering why I did not learn my lesson.

I can’t set foot in there. I noticed that I was going to get my freeplay and leaving credit cards at home. Then one day I bring the plastic by “accident” and blow $2000 over $20 freeplay. Crazy. Self excluding is leaving the credit cards at home and also.. not going in at all, ever. By law:)
