I have hidden my gambling addiction for a while and it has just caused me to lose the woman I love. I am taking steps to stop gambling and this was the first option that came to my mind. I want to take these steps so I can better myself and not be a closet gambler and to stop for good. I have made the decision to stay away from pubs and casinos. I want to stay away because I will get the urge to play. I have gambled to much money away that it has affected my house life… Not having the money for bills. I would really like to find a support group that I can confide in that won’t judge me.

Glad you are looking for support if you are around Tuesday night at 9 pm est there is a moderated session with Gambling Outreach counselor from BC Canada. Great place to ask questions and share thoughts about recovery. Also if you are interested I send out a couple of daily recovery focused messages that I find helps start my day in a positive place.
