Good Morning GamTalk Community, wishing everyone on the site a Happy New Year.
Looking forward to 2022 with hope & optimism. We are all works in progress, beautifully made, beautifully woven, and for that I am grateful. Thanks to Kenl for all his dedication to keeping this site going. You are my morning check in, my teacher, my mentor. Your daily insights and devotions have helped keep me grounded. Being grounded and present has helped me realize that my recovery has to be my number one priority in life. With that realization I have reminded myself, I always have to do my part, put the effort and time in to get well and heal from this illness. Slowly it is coming together, Thanks to everyone’s posts, suggestions and insight I am getting stronger and healthier. For that I send you all ❤️ and gratitude. Today I pray my GamTalk Community will always remember they are never alone, even in their darkest moments they are being supported and loved. I leave you with my favourite poem and my heartfelt gratitude and a wish 2022 will be a happier, healthier year for all of you !

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
“Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You’d walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”

He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
