Community 1 months, 2 weeks agoStayed away from gambling for 5 months. I thought I was cured and decided to go for my birthday. Big mistake! I lost over a thousand dollars in a short time. I have that hopeless feeling of anxiety and worry again. Why did I have to go back to this. I was better off celebrating my birthday at home with family. I hate myself all over again.

Community 1 months, 3 weeks agoDay 8 of no gambling- I went to 3 GA mtgs this wk.The only way out of this addiction for me is staying in the Gamblers anonymous program.If thats what i have to do to stay sane thats what im gonna do.Nothing has brought me down like gambling has.I lost just about everything from gambling including my sanity.

My first tip for you is how about pulling over somewhere to scratch tickets. Or you could do like the real degenerates and scratch them off in the store they just bought them in. Coming to terms w the damage I’ve caused but not beating myself up too much today. Just picking up the pieces one day at a time and hopefully payday tomorrow finds me on day 3. Thanks my friends.
