Day 19.I went to a mtg last night and took a fellow gambler along with me who has been struggling and went thru her entire life savings and paycheck last wk.She has no money for gas food cat foos nothing so i was feeling bad for her lastnight and gave her a few bucks-I no she spent it on what she needed but what kind of bothers me is i dont think she would do it for me.But it made me happy to help her even though i dont have much $ because of my gambling.Im in alot of debt.Nxt mtg will be Sunday.I have no choice but to keep going.

I’m really glad you are being so strong and fighting to improve your true quality of life. You can only do what you feel is right for your friend, regardless if you think they would do the same. Selflessness is such a honorable trait to have, and it’s hard to find. I know you have seen your fair share of struggles, and helping someone else ease their own burdens, even if only temporarily, might be what they need to just make it through another day. And another day comes for you tomorrow, and I hope it is just as successful as the past 19. One day at a time right. That’s all we can hope for. And if we get another one, hope it is a good one. Keep fighting.
