Hello everyone, I’m Barbi i’m 20 years old and as weird as it sounds, i have been gambling my whole life. I asked a question to my self when did it start? or how did it start? and it clicked it, when i was only 9 years old, i started playing texas poker online for fun, though i did not understand how it worked, i liked the feeling of winning the demo money online. Later, i got into gaming, and sooner i started gambling my skins from the games on online websites, i was about 13 years old. Now there’s a black point in the story, i do not know how, but i stopped for a few years, i didn’t lose much since i didn’t have a job.. so to pick up the story, when i was in high school i started sports betting by the money my mother gave me to get myself some food, at times i won, at times i didn’t have anyting to eat at school. Further on, i stopped with sports betting, when i got introduced to online gambling. It has been now affecting my life, my mental health and everything around me for over one year. I’ve got a nice job, i get paid well, but still there are months when i’m waiting for my paycheck because i gambled the money i was supposed to spend on other important things. I know that this yourney is going to be hard for me, but i want to be better, i want to stop this generational addictive bloodline, it ends with me, this addiction ends with me quitting from everything once and for all.
