    Is anyone still struggling and still gambling? I am and I can’t seem to Stop!
    Is this site just for recovering gamblers? Feel I’ve got no place to go for help.

      I am very much struggling. Today is a bad day, feeling the depression over losses and guilt, worried about bills, and just wondering how to retrain my brain to find joy in anything besides gambling.

    Funny how I had money in my account last week. Enough to pay bills, etc. Since then, I had borrowed again from 2 family members. Lied again as usual. I now feel worse than ever.     I’ve decided not to admit my gambling addiction to my family until I have decided to seriously quit. Not just say it. The thing with me, when I decide to do something, I actually and whole heartedly do it. I’ll quit!       Hi Mags, I think I understand about knowing when your ready and that you WILL do it when you are finally ready ( with help of resources , right?)     I’m spiritual. Love God. 40 yrs sobriety, by the grace of God, yet here I am with a gambling addiction. Go figure. I guess God isn’t finished with me yet. Must need more life lessons. Part of the process of life and learning.

    In 30 yrs. I can’t remember miss playing the slots, buying scratch tickets and the latest since Covid and the casinos were closed, “online casinos”. It’ll be nice the day I can say, I didn’t gamble for today.
