My son is 100,000 in debt. 35 with three little girls under 7. His wife just divorced him as she cant take it anymore. He wants help and is willing to go to rehab. I have looked into them. Very expensive and results/reviews seemed mixed if rehab really helps gambling addiction. HELP!! Any experience or opinions???

  I think like anything else, it will only work if one is willing to put in the work. Many don’t necessarily require an expensive rehab center either. People can stop gambling go into recovery with supportive tools, support groups, counselling, accountability and a plan. Gambling is a symptom of other deeper issues that need to be explored. So before paying for expensive rehab consider what can be done by your son, it is his journey. All the best to you!
