I did that (self-exclude) myself in April. It makes a world of difference. I actually have money now for things needed! I don’t miss the casinos AT ALL!!

Ive been there way too many times, also. I get so sucked into trying to win, that I forget how much I’ve put in and lost! Usually, my entire pay is gone. 🙁

Community 1 years, 10 months agoWell, now, because of my undisciplined actions i.e. gambling everyday, my car is being repossessed on July 8th unless I come up with $592.00, which I gambled away….I’m and idiot. I seriously have reached out to many agencies, but cannot find help with this. Unfortunately, I NEED my car for work, but I’m pretty much screwed. 🙁

Sometimes churches have funds to help ask them for counselling and for them to take the payment to the bank with you

It is what happens when you continue to gamble and then chase your losses… You need to break the “cycle” and start also taking your financial inventory. Give your money and all cards, debit, and credit cards to your spouse or a trustworthy person to handle your money.

I can relate. I’ve thrown in away SOOOO much money it’s very sickening and I just keep doing it. I get machines up pretty high and instead of cashing out and taking the money I continue to play until it’s gone. Addiction to anything is difficult for loved ones to understand. My sister is a drug addict and I have had no contact with her for several years. I completely understand your frustration. I love to gamble and am now losing my family, my precious grandchildren. My kids say im an addict and wont let them around me. This is worse than financial.

Yep, I have comm hit bottom. I hate to say this, but I wish tyere was a way I could gamble normally because I use to enjoy it. NOW im in it for tge jackpot and ONLY tye jackpots, however it seems everyone around me hits them but me. How long have you been gambling? What else do you do to get support? 8 onky have 2 GA mtgs in my town a week.…[Read more]
