Hello all. was recommended to this sight and am trying to find my way around in it. After years of gambling, on again /off again I find that I can not stop on my own. I was active in G.A. and had about 7 years of clean time. Moved to Texas from California in 2010 and thought I could stay gamble free on my own……. OK, fast forward to 2015. Texas has no casinos but the do have scratchers and Lotto. I gradually started a few a week, then I found out my wife of 30 years had stage 4 cancer and died from it. This got me into a deep depression and I started doing more gambling. Then I moved back to my home state of Oklahoma. OOPS…. a casino in almost every town in the state. I once again became a full blown Compulsive Gambler. I know I can’t do this on my own and will be going to G.A. again. I will try to get into chat here for I need to share with like minded folks.
