Why do I always feel alone I’m 35 and can’t seem to stop gambeling I’ve tried to hard but just feel so alone and it’s the only thing makes me feel better I waste money I’m supposed to use for bills so I’m getting more in debt
I haven’t been too active here lately… and it’s been awhile since you posted, but just in case you check back in… I’d like to offer whatever support I can. You’re 35 and I’m 77… I didn’t start until the past couple of years. Things in life happened.. my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and I started playing online to pass time and I guess to distract me. You’re young and so I think if you can really take a first step you won’t have to be my age and gambling. Admitting it is a ‘big’ first step. You need some support either from a group such as Gambler’s anonymous or a good friend or someone you can trust and confide in to help you back on track. Think of what else you could do with the money you gamble… pay bills of course but for other reasons. For me I find that the painting I do is a distraction . For you it could be something else… In any case take care … Lindy
