Activity

One of the things that help me to get my mind away from this addiction is ‘painting’. There are a couple of others that do this too. I thought of doing this painting as a way to encourage others that come here and especially those who are new. It’s a picture of rainbow… with the words “One Day at a Time’… because that’s what most of us do; take each day at a time. I thought of how a rainbow signifies the end of a storm with a beautiful display of colours to represent the ‘beginning of a new day! If we can think of our storm as our addiction to gambling… perhaps we can also think of the future as a ‘new beginning’ as we battle to overcome…. Lindy
