Hi everyone. I’m feeling hopeless an in fear. I have a gambling addiction that has put me in debt. I feel like a horrible mother and daughter. And need help before I lose everything.

  If the debt is significant you can go to credit.org. I may have to do in January next year. It really comes down to how much can I earn in the next 3 months. Can I make a dent on the credit card bill? And get some money into my checking account. I spoke with a credit counselor, things are not that hopeless for me yet, she seems to think that I have a chance to negotiate with my bank. I called and was talked out of it. But like I said I am going to wait until January and make a decision then. Credit.org is a non-profit service, but there is a fee that is negotiated into the monthly payment. Apparently they negotiate with creditors to get interest lowered.
