odaat I remind myself that no matter how long it’s been since I put money in a slot machine /visited a casino: *there is NO new experience at any casino. It may seem new to me because I had not visited it before. A different location, size, number of machines, layout of the venue, music, personality. It’s all smoke and the underlying intention of the establishment is to create a facade of fun and winning potential. *It’s always the same story of loss and escalation. Any small short stint of luck has a huge history of losses making it insignificant and a future of losses to take any wins back fast. *If I managed to walk out even or with a win that would only be fuel for huge losses in the future. And I’ve mostly 95% or more of the time walked out with nothing but lost time, money and that sick/drained/ painful reality … the reality that this bad choice was not worth one minute of my time or one dollar of my money. *There will always be a casino that is further away that I could travel to or a new local one being built or if I move … some new local ones, or on vacations… FACT IS: There is no new experience or outcome at any gambling venue. ODAAT months are adding up but it’s only in the day and moment that I can make the best choice.
