Does anyone have any experience with finding low-cost residential treatment for a gambling disorder? I have Medicaid but would probably be able to buy a cheap private plan just for this purpose. Problem is, the closest treatment center (to me) specializing in gambling disorders is in AZ (I’m in WA), and very few if any health plans will cover non-emergency out-of-state treatment. Does anyone know of a place that will occasionally accept a particularly desperate “charity case”?
