Hello everyone, I am new here.
I am an 18-year-old I believe soon to be an addict. It all started on my birthday and I and some buddies went to the casino for my 18th birthday and I happened to hit big playing roulette and blackjack and came out two-grand on top. From then on I have been playing online blackjack regularly and it isn’t large amounts, $10 or $15, but I believe I am addicted to the rush of the win or lose. I can not afford this problem anymore, I am a college freshman and I sometimes miss out on memories with my friends because of my blackjack sessions. Does anyone have suggestions for what I can do to stop or at least calm down a bit?

  I suggest you see if you can find some counseling in your town and a GA group even if it is a phone meeting or Zoom meeting
  This is a tough addiction to manage on our own. I am also going to send you a couple of messages with info that may help you with staying stopped and if you have any questions please feel free to email me at ken.lambon@rogers.com

    Hi Gavin , firstly , massive respect for joining this community and posting . It took me 44 years and a whole of heart ache , pain and crippling debt to find the courage . Please please join a GA group. It saved my life . You can share everything and anything with people that are going through similar journeys and you will not be judged .
