GamTalk was developed by Dr Richard Wood a psychologist who has been researching gambling related issues for the last 13 years. Dr Wood has spent a lot of time talking to people experiencing gambling problems, and investigating methods for helping them to recover. He also works in harm prevention by advising both regulatory and industry sectors around the world on how to design effective responsible gaming strategies to help minimise the incidence of problem gambling.

Dr Wood currently manages GamTalk in Montreal and is supported by a team of moderators and technical experts who ensure that GamTalk works as effectively as possible.
